Sunday brought us some really important conference battles, and a couple of impactful games within the scope of the tournament!

First, Seton Hall utilized a magical comeback to beat Creighton at the buzzer and take a 56-54 victory in a rock fight. Elijah fisher had 10 points to lead the Pirates. Currently, SHU is the clear 3rd team in the Big East behind UConn and Nova.

UAB and USF played an electric, high scoring affair that required 2 OT’s to settle. Chance Westry led UAB with 24 and had 6 assists to just 2 turnovers. However, Wes Enis for USF poured in 36 points in the losing effort. Neither team is currently in the tournament picture, however, both are vying for position in the American!

UConn dominates Marquette. UConn is now on a 10 game winning streak and quickly looking like a solid 1 seed!

Purdue Fort Wayne again comes back from down 10+, this time to beat Cleveland State!

Wright State takes care of IU Indy in a surprisingly close affair.

Marist gets its largest victory against a D1 opponent ever… beating Iona 83-38!

Each of Liberty, Missouri State, and Middle Tennessee won important conference matchups to move to 3-0 in CUSA.

Oakland moves to 4-1 in Horizon play, dominating Robert Morris.

Northern Kentucky improves to 4-2 in conference play after a scorching hot first half!

North Texas defeats Tulsa in a surprisingly important American matchup, likely killing chances for Tulsa to dance.

Murray State blitzes Bradley, winning 86-66 to move to FIVE and 0 in MVC play! Jackson with 20 to lead the way for the Racers.

Belmont falls to Southern Illinois is a surprising results, also in the MVC.

San Francisco comes back from a steep deficit in the first to beat Portland 73-68.

Gonzaga rolls over LMU, as expected!

Saint Mary’s survives a scare from Seattle (yes, the team that took Gonzaga to OT). The Gaels pulled away in the end behind Murauskas’s 30/15 double double!

Indiana takes care of business against Washington in Bloomington, winning 90-80. This really helps solidify IU’s footing in the projected field right now.

Monday:

I will be in Columbus for a monumental matchup between Ohio State and Nebraska. Tip is 6:30 on FS1! Can Nebraska continue the unbeaten run? Does Diebler get a season altering win? This game has it all! Q1 for OSU, Q2 for Nebraska. Ohio State is currently favored by 2.5.

Oregon @ Ruters | 7:00, Peacock

This is an important matchup for Oregon who needs to avoid a terrible loos in Piscataway to have any real chance at a tournament birth. Ducks favored by 6.5

Milwaukee @ Green Bay | 7:00, ESPN+

This is a key Horizon matchup. Milwauke e is a win behind the top of the conference and a loss here would place them a game back. For Green Bay, they’re 2-2 in conference and looking to stay within striking distance!

Penn @ Princeton | 7:00, ESPN+

This is a really solid Ivy League matchup tonight and will have implications on who makes the Ivy tournament in March!

William & Mary @ Charleston | 7:00, CBSSN

Huge matchup in the CAA regular season! Both teams are 2-0, and William & Mary is looking to prove they’re a real contender to get out of the never made the tournament club this year! Expect a ton of points in this one.

Stephen F Austin @ McNeese | 7:30, ESPN+

This is the game of the night in the Southland! McNeese is favored by 10.5, however, SFA is 5-0 in the Southland and if they’re able to pull the upset, this would set the tone for the entire conference!

USC @ Michigan State | 8:30, FS1

Michigan State is coming off a loss in a tough one to Nebraska on Friday. Can they change the tune and come out and beat the Trojans? This is a key matchup for both teams. For USC, they’re going to play some tough games on this side of the country, finding a way to win some of them is vital to getting a single digit seed like they hope to obtain!
