This week, Tuesday brought us some great games and set the week off to a great start. However, that was just another Tuesday in January. Wednesday brought much of the same!

Uconn comes back to force OT against providence at the AMP in an electric game! The Huskies did just enough to win this one! Providence continues to disappoint this year.

Baylor… We have a problem. Iowa State won in Waco on Wednesday night. Baylor remains outside of the bracket and falling down quickly.

Indiana handles business, beating Maryland on the road!

Marquette forces a ton of turnovers in an ugly game against Xavier, getting their first high major win of the year.

Belmont beats UNI by 13 tonight in Iowa! Belmont continues to be a force in the MVC race.

Saint Louis continues to thrive this year, this time getting their first ever road win over VCU! That’s also a Q1 win for SLU who project as an 8 seed right now.

The Miami Hurricanes get a huge road win over Wake forest and combined with other results, move up to a 10 seed! Hurricanes impressing this year.

Stanford beats Virginia Tech at the buzzer! Freshman phenom Okorie had 31 points and hit the game winner with 3 seconds left!

Missouri gets their first win at Rupp. UK loses their first home opener in SEC play since 2013. Kentucky is now a bubble team and sliding quick. Missouri is now a bubble team and rising quick. Tigers have entered the bracket.

Oklahoma falls to a suddenly hot Mississippi State squad! Oklahoma will now fall out of my projected bracket.

Creighton beats Villanova in Philly, giving the Jays a great win. They continue to be on the fringe of the bubble kind of hanging around, but this was a massive win. Up Next? SJU at home on Saturday! For Nova, no panic at this time, will fall down to a 6/7 seed.

Murray State has won TEN in a row and look to be the team to beat in the MVC. They are also a team I’d keep an eye on for an upset in March!

Purdue, Arizona and BYU do what they’re supposed to do, handling inferior conference foes.

Alabama/Vanderbilt lived up to the hype! Vandy has proven they 100% belong among the top of the nation! For Alabama – they need to get healthy.

Arkansas controlled the game vs. Ole Miss, winning with ease. Arkansas continues to climb up, but still a 4 for now.

Virginia handled California at home. Cal, while a nice story/record, is just not a tournament caliber team right now. However, UVA is so much better than I expected this year. Staying on the 5 line at the present.

Clemson beat SMU relatively easily. SMU falls to the 8 line, while Clemson climbs to the same area. The ACC is a bloodbath, but in a good way!

Colorado does just enough to avoid the bad loss to Utah. The Buffs stay on the fringe bubble for now!

GCU shocks myself and likely many others, beating Boise big yesterday! This was a really poor result for the Bronco’s tournament chances.

Northwestern @ Michigan State | 6:30, BTN

State is favored by 12, and I think they’ll cover that. Northwestern, while solid, hasn’t been anywhere near the tournament team Wildcat fans hoped to see coming into the year and the Spartans just dominated a good USC team. MSU would stay a 3 with a win.

William & Mary @ Monmouth | 7:00, FloSports

William & Mary is coming off a loss to Charleston, and now has to head up to NJ to face a Monmouth team that is never easy to beat. W&M favored by 4 currently!

App State @ Georgia State | 7:00, ESPN+

This should be a really fun matchup in the ATL. Look for App State who is favored, to win here!

Central Arkansas @ Bellarmine | 7:00, ESPN+

Central Arkansas is 2-0 in the ASUN and is looking to make it 3-0! Bellarmine will bring a big challenge here. Game is practically a tossup!

UT Martin @ Morehead State | 7:30, ESPN+

This is a battle of 3-1 OVC Teams with big implications! UT Martin is favored by 2.

Weber State @ Northern Arizona | 8:00, ESPN+

Weber State is favored here, but this one will be electric. Really intriguing Big Sky matchup!

Abilene Christian @ Tarleton State | 8:00, ESPN+

Tarleton is favored by roughly 6 here, but this is an extremely impactful WAC matchup!

Rutgers @ Illinois | 8:30, BTN

Illini should roll here at home.

Montana @ Idaho | 9:00, ESPN+

Idaho comes in favored by a couple here, but this matchup is one to keep an eye on! Neither team has losses in Big Sky play to-date!

Western Kentucky @ New Mexico State | 9:00, ESPN+

NM State is favored here by 4, but this matchup will be critical for both teams in the CUSA Race!

UC Davis @ UC Santa Barbara | 9:00, ESPN+

Really fun matchup out west! UC SB favored by 3.

Seattle @ Oregon State | 10:00, ESPN+

Seattle continues to show that they’re one of the better teams in the WCC. Will they keep that up against Oregon State? I think so!

Utah Tech @ Cal Baptist | 10:00, ESPN+

Major opportunity for Utah Tech to really establish that they’re going to compete at the top of the WAC this year! For CBU, it’s a great opportunity to get on track this year at home. CBU favored by 7.

Ohio State @ Oregon | 10:30, BTN

Oregon is not in the tournament picture right now. Ohio State is barely hanging out in the bracket. OSU needs to win this one. They’re favored by 2.

San Francisco @ LMU | 11:00, CBSSN

The WCC never disappoints, and I’d expect this one to be no different. LMU favored by 1 in what is basically a toss-up.

Sana Clara @ Gonzaga | 11:30, ESPN2

Gonzaga should dominate at the kennel, however, Santa Clara is solid and could surprise. GU favored by 15.
